Fungus is a kingdom of organisms & Mushroom is a fleshy, spore-bearing fruiting body of a fungus, typically produced above ground on soil or on its food source.

Fungus are a parasitic plant lacking chlorophyll and leaves and true stems and roots and reproducing by spores.

Mushroom are any of various fleshy fungi of the subdivision Basidiomycota consisting of a cap at the end of a stem arising from an underground mycelium.
